Are you a record label? Can you help me get signed to a record label?
No, we are not a record label, however, our affiliate, Rap Fundamentals, may be able to get you sign to one. Their e-book contains an entire chapter devoted to the music industry and how to go about getting signed to record labels.

We do not accept unsolicited demos.

What's the difference between Exclusive and Non-exclusive beats?
Non-exclusive licenses (aka "leasing") give an artist the right to use a given beat, while being aware that other artists may also have the right to use that same beat. If you purchase an exclusive license for a beat, that particular beat will never be sold again to anyone. For more details visit our exclusive license and non-exclusive license explanation pages.

Will I be getting my beat(s) in the mail, or do I have to download them?
You will receive a CD containing an encoded .MP3 file, and a copy of the raw .WAV file, of the untagged song. The song file will be delivered by UPS (with tracking service) and you will also receive a copy of your non-exclusive or exclusive license. This constitutes a tangible product and is therefore compliant with Paypal and Google Checkout "Seller Protection Terms of Service". For your convenience, a downloadable copy of the untagged MP3 file will also be made available to you immediately upon payment.

If I buy a non-exclusive beat and then want to have the exclusive rights to that same beat, can I get a discount?
Yes, we can normally work out some sort of discount in these situations. Contact support@hiphopmusicbeats.com if this is the case.

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you accept cash/checks?
As far as currency, we accept US$ dollars only. As far as payment methods go, our shopping cart system is integrated with both PayPal and Google Checkout. We accept all major credit cards through their secure networks. Please contact support@hiphopmusicbeats.com if you are interested in paying with cash or check.

How safe is my credit card information?
Your credit card information is absolutely safe with us. We do not store your credit card information, nor do we ever actually see your credit card information. Your credit card is processed through either PayPal or Google Checkout's Secure Servers which encrypt your information for safety.
